Sunday April 17

Well, we had a busy week. Monday was my last radiation treatment was Monday. We hooked up before going to Lecanto and took the trailer with us. I had a visit with the Oncologist and had to verify some future appointments which delayed our getting on the road some. We had a nice trip to Sugarmill Plantation Campground near Ochlocknee, GA. It was dark by time we arrived, but we received plenty of help getting into a very good pull-through site that had been held for us. We did partial setup before calling it a day.

I finished our setup before breakfast on Tuesday. It was an excellent rally of the RV Radio Network. As with most rallies, there was way too much to eat. They had interesting seminars and we took a ride to Camilis one day to shop, look around and fuel the truck as diesel is almost 20 cents less there than here. We enjoyed visiting, making new friends and some games.

We followed friends Dave and Charlotte on the return trip, and parked in their yard in Inglis, FL on Friday night as we had been going there on Saturday mornings. We went out for delicious Seafood supper followed by a ride around the area, then visited for the evening. We went with them to December's for the Ham Radio breakfast Saturday morning. Then after a few short computer projects, we returned to Homosassa.

I was tired when we arrived as I hadn't had a very good night, so napped before doing our setup here. Cal was out on a trip, so we visited with Marilyn and some guests of theirs. Then took a short walk. Today we went to church where we wished the minister and his wife a great trip to Israel as they leave tomorrow. We then had dinner out and did a bit of shopping before returning home to R&R the rest of day. Cal was back today so we did visit with them some this evening. Not much more of excitement that I know of.
