Friday, November 26

We certainly hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. Ours was, we have so many blessings to be thankful for. In fact we celebrated 2 days. Yesterday we went to Loretta's son Dave's down the road where we were joined by all members of their family that are in Tennessee. Great food and a good time. Daughter Sharon's family has several members working in the health care field. Her husband worked a double shift yesterday so some of his co-workers could celebrate with their families. So we celebrated here today with about 20 in attendance. As usual, Diane (Sharon's sister-in-law) prepared way too much food. I am stuffed. But it was delicious and great to be with family at this time.

We have had a lot of rain here as that is what fall brings, HI. Wednesday we took grandchildren Scott and Michelle out for supper in Lawrenceburg. The road was flooded out of here, but water was not too deep to pass through. But it sure makes a muddy mess of the area in front of our 5th wheel where we usually park our truck.

Deer season is now open here and Bill has been given a nice buck by one of his co-workers. Dave has been hunting some and this morning bagged 2 small button bucks. They are classified as does, of which one can harvest 3 per day. He could only get 2 bucks during the whole season which lasts almost a month. The deer herd is way too large and they are trying to reduce it. We saw several this afternoon including at least one nice buck while taking those 2 to the processing plant. Also we see lots of wild turkeys almost every day. As of now hunting for them is limited, but wouldn't be surprised to see large bag limits in the near future there also.

Had chilly frosty mornings the past 2 days, but sun came out and it was nice but nippy. Think that makes 4 frosty mornings, but as of now no snow, HI.

We went to the Doctor's office for lab tests this week for our upcoming physical exams. And of course did some shopping and visited a favorite restaurant whille in town.

Guess that gets up to date,

Andy and Loretta
